Jaipur : The scope of the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana will now be expanded further. Along with this scheme, the network of private hospitals along with government hospitals will now be extended to villages as well. Also, the people of the state will now be able to get treatment in other states as well. Preparations are also underway for this. This was said by Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar in a meeting held with beneficiaries at the Health Building on Wednesday. Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar said that to make the benefits of this scheme reach the people, the network of hospitals will be expanded with the participation of the private sector. Its rules are also being changed and simplified as per the need. Medical Minister Khinvsar said that the facility of portability will be started soon in this scheme. With this, citizens of states outside will also be able to take advantage of this scheme and patients of Rajasthan will be able to get treatment in other states. The portal is being updated for this facility. Starting this facility will promote medical value travel in the state. Due to increased patient load in the hospitals here, they will benefit in hospital operations. Besides, more opportunities for investment and employment will be available in the medical field.
Medical value travel policy will be introduced soon
ACS Gayatri Rathore said that the policy is being finalized to promote medical value travel in the state. This policy will be introduced soon. Along with this, policy decisions are also being taken to increase private participation in the medical field. Our ultimate goal is that the best medical facilities should be available to the general public through government and private participation.
More than 1.33 crore families registered, more than 1700 hospitals listed
Priyanka Goswami, Chief Executive Officer of Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency, said that currently more than 1.33 crore families are registered under Ayushman Arogya Yojana and more than 1700 hospitals are listed. Treatment for various diseases is being provided to patients under about 1800 packages. Treatment for serious diseases is also available under the scheme.
