Voting begins for by-election on Khinvsar seat in Nagaur.

Nagaur : Voting has started for the by-election in Khinvsar assembly seat of Nagaur. The sequence of voters coming to the polling station had started from 7 am itself. The main contest here is between Rashtriya Loktantrik Party, Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress candidates. Whereas there is a contest between 12 candidates in the election field. Khinvsar being a hot seat, the police administration is on alert mode. There are total 286041 voters in Khinvsar. These include 149254 male voters and 136787 female voters.

A total of 268 polling stations have been set up for voting, out of which 4 are auxiliary booths. There are 2679 disabled voters and 592 service voters in Khinvsar assembly constituency. Let us tell you that in 2019 also assembly by-election was held in Khinvsar. In view of the by-elections, 10 booths have been decorated on green theme. There will be 10 booth models. Management and operation of 8 booths will be done by women personnel, 8 booths by youth personnel and 1 booth by disabled personnel.

Deputy District Election Officer Champalal Jinagar said that 402 voters have cast their votes for the Khinvsar by-election by voting at home.
