Bundi News Desk: The protest at Gurukul Vedic Vidyalaya in the town continued for the third day on Tuesday. The relatives of the children who died in the fire are sitting outside the Gurukul Vedic School and demanding disclosure of the fire. A candle march was taken out by the relatives of the children who died in the fire in the town at 5.30 pm by lighting candles from the protest site to the main market of Talwas town. On the third day of the protest, Additional Superintendent of Police Bundi Uma Sharma reached there to counsel the family members. Along with them, ninth CO Rajulal Meena, Naib Tehsildar Kailash Narayan Meena along with police reached the Talwas protest site of Japte. And requested to end the protest after discussion with the family members, but the protesting family members said that this protest will continue like this for seven days. We will stop the protest after investigating the cause of the fire and taking action against the culprits. If the fire is not disclosed, we will sit here on strike like this for seven days and after the eighth day, I will commit suicide outside the Collectorate at Bundi District Headquarters. There was anger among people of all sections of the town due to the non-disclosure of the cause of the fire.
I have been sitting on a dharna at Gurukul Vedic Vidyalaya since Sunday along with all the families of the other deceased children. Met the police administration several times for the past 45 days to investigate the fire that broke out in the Gurukul Vedic School and take action against the culprits, but the investigation has not been received yet.
