New Delhi, November 25 (IANS). Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj spoke to IANS on Monday. He reacted to the Delhi government increasing the pension amount of the elderly to Rs 2500.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that today is a very happy day for the elders of Delhi. Lakhs of people were affected by the suspension of pension of senior citizens after Arvind Kejriwal went to jail. BJP had worked to stop pension in Delhi. Today about 80 thousand new pensions have started. People below the age of sixty to sixty-nine years will be given two thousand rupees per month. Delhi government will give Rs 2,500 every month as pension to people above seventy years of age.
He told that the government has also made arrangements for the disabled people. Those whose disability is more than 60 percent, the Delhi government will give five thousand rupees per month. I think Aam Aadmi Party is the only government in the country which is giving so much money.
On these announcements of the government, BJP says that Aam Aadmi Party is distributing Revadi before the Delhi Assembly elections. On this, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Aam Aadmi Party is openly distributing Revdi among the poor. Now if BJP has stomach ache then go to mohalla clinic and get treatment.
It is noteworthy that in the Aam Aadmi Party office, the party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Atishi and Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj gave information in a press conference about resumption of pension for the elderly. During this, the Health Minister said that BJP made lakhs of elderly people suffer for their pension for many months and now “Delhi’s son” Arvind Kejriwal has restarted the pension of the elderly.
