Rajasthan : In many districts of Rajasthan, the humid heat has made the condition of people miserable for about a week. Rain brings relief from humidity, but the temperature is increasing due to sunshine for the last two days. The percentage of humidity has increased from 80 to 90 percent. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of continuous rain for the next 5 days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli districts on August 1. The department has predicted heavy rain, thunderstorm with lightning. At the same time, an alert of thunderstorm with lightning has been issued in Baran, Jhalawar.
On August 2, an alert has been issued for heavy rain, thunderstorms and lightning in Bharatpur and Dholpur. On August 3, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 11 districts. IMD has issued an alert for heavy rain, thunderstorms and lightning in Banswara, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand and Udaipur districts.
