Jaipur : Latest update from the Meteorological Department, in just 100 minutes, there will be heavy rain in these 20 districts of Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued a double alert. The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert for Alwar, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, Bundi districts. It has also warned that in just 90 minutes, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thunder and lightning or rain with strong winds at some places in these four districts. During this time, the wind speed is likely to be 30-40 KMPH.

Meteorological Department issued Yellow Alert for 16 districts

The Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow Alert for 16 districts of Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has predicted that in just 90 minutes, light to moderate rain with strong winds and thundershowers is likely in Jaipur, Dausa, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sirohi, Baran, Kota, Jhalawar, Nagaur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Pali districts and surrounding areas. During this time, the wind speed is likely to remain 20-30 KMPH.

There will be a decrease in heavy rain activities from July 11

According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, at present the monsoon trough line is passing through southern Rajasthan. On July 11, the monsoon trough line will shift towards the Himalayas and heavy rainfall activities will decrease. During this time, heavy rains may occur at some places in Bharatpur division and light to moderate rains may occur in the remaining parts. During July 12-13, there is a possibility of moderate rains only at sporadic places and the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in most parts.

Kalwad received the highest rainfall in Jaipur

According to the weather center, heavy rainfall has been recorded in some places in Jaipur and Sawai Madhopur districts in the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall was recorded in Kalwad in Jaipur at 93 mm, Sambhar at 78 mm, Malarna in Sawai Madhopur at 85 mm and Chauth ka Barwara at 69 mm. Apart from this, 57 mm rainfall was recorded in Merta of Nagaur. In the last 24 hours, 25 mm rain fell in Jaipur and 26 mm in Karauli.
