Jaipur : Rajasthan Finance Minister Diya Kumari is presenting the first full budget of the Bhajan Lal government in the Assembly on Wednesday. This is the first time that a state budget is being presented before the central budget. It is being said that this budget is in line with the vision of the Center, which will prepare a road map for PM Modi’s vision of ‘Developed India’. The biggest challenge before the Rajasthan government is to deal with the debt, as the state is in a huge debt of Rs 5.79 lakh crore, which is the highest for any state in the country. An investor summit is also expected to be held in Rajasthan in December, so the government can look at investment friendly policies in the budget.
All eyes will also be on whether the Bhajan Lal government discontinues some of the schemes started by the Gehlot government? Just like the free mobile scheme for women was stopped earlier. However, based on the previous government’s focus on health, an increase in health insurance cover can be seen. IT related work will be done at the tourist places of Jaipur.
For the conservation of Jaipur’s ramparts and heritage buildings, a plan of Rs. 100 crore will be made and work will be started.
Light and show will be organised in a better manner in Amer.
Rajasthan Mandapam will be built in Jaipur on the lines of Delhi.
Ropeway will be started at Amer, Jaigarh, Nahargarh Kilo, DPR will be made for this.
The terminal capacity of Jaipur Airport will be increased from 50 lakh passengers per year to 70 lakh and a new terminal will also be built.
