Jaipur : Heavy rains in Rajasthan have disrupted normal life. The situation is such that the dams have overflown, due to which many villages are flooded. In Jaipur, a dam broke due to overflow and dead bodies from the cemetery near the dam were washed away in the water.

Bodies washed away from Kho Nagorian town in Jaipur

Actually, this is the whole case of Kho Nagorian town located near Agra Road in Jaipur. There is a 30 feet deep dam near the hill in the area. Its name is Noor ka Dam. Local resident Sadiq said that last year also this dam was full, so the Municipal Corporation had emptied the water of the dam by making a kutcha road with the help of JCB.

Rain wreaked havoc in Jaipur

There was heavy rain in Jaipur last night and this morning. The dam was already full but it was overflowing since this morning. Suddenly a part of the dam wall broke and water started flowing out of the dam rapidly. The walls of the cemetery located about 200 meters from the dam broke and the dead bodies were washed away from about 5 to 6 graves. They were brought back with great difficulty. This is the first time such an incident has happened in the capital.

Because of this the dead were swept away from the cemetery

Kho Nagorian police, who reached the spot, said that the entire area has been covered for now. Preparations are being made to repair the broken wall. Dead bodies have come out of many graves and remains from many have come out and been washed away in the water. With the help of local people, they have been collected and placed in the graves again. Since this cemetery was on a slope, water came rapidly from the hill. At present, the water level has decreased and the Municipal Corporation has also been informed.
