Famous astrologer of Devghar, Pandit Nandkishore Mudgal told Local 18 that different forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped for nine days. Different offerings and adornment items are offered during the nine days. Because if you offer food as per the wish of the Gods and Goddesses, then their blessings remain. Astrologer says that although different offerings should be made for nine days of Navratri, Batasha should be offered to every goddess every day. Because Batasha is considered to be the most favorite offering of Goddess Durga.

Different offerings for nine days

First day: During the worship of Mother Shailputri, sweets made from cow’s ghee should be offered.
On the second day: Sugar Panchamrit should be offered during the worship of Mother Brahmacharini.
On the third day: It is auspicious to offer sweets or kheer made from milk during the worship of Mother Chandraghanta.
On the fourth day: Malpua should be offered during the worship of Mother Kushmanda.
On the fifth day: Banana should be offered during the worship of Mother Skanda Mata.
Sixth day: Sweet betel leaf should be offered during the worship of Mother Katyayani.
Seventh day: During the worship of Maa Kalratri, offer sweets made of jaggery and kheer.
Eighth day: During the worship of Mahagauri, offer coconut.
Ninth day: Kheer, Puri and Halwa should be offered during the worship of Mother Siddhidatri.
Tenth day: Mother Durga should be bid farewell by offering Jalebi and Balushahi.
