Jaipur : Political uproar continues in Rajasthan over the 17 new districts created during the tenure of the previous Ashok Gehlot government. Now the latest case has come up regarding Sanchore, where former minister Sukhram Bishnoi has sat on a hunger strike from today amid rumours of cancellation of the newly formed district. It is being told that there has been a ruckus in Sanchore ever since the list of transfers of IPS officers came out.
Sukhram Bishnoi gave this information
Sukhram Bishnoi, former MLA of Sanchore and former minister in the Congress government, while giving information on his ex handle wrote that respecting the public sentiments, I am going to sit on an indefinite hunger strike in front of Sanchore District Collectorate from 11 am tomorrow, demanding to keep Sanchore district as it is. I vow to struggle till my last breath to keep Sanchore district intact and for the honor and respect of the people of Sanchore district.
There was a ruckus as soon as the transfer list came
It is worth noting that Bhajanlal government had transferred IPS officers three days ago. In this list of transfers, the Superintendent of Police of Sanchore district was removed and the SP of Jalore district was given additional charge of Sanchore. After this incident, the people of Sanchore have started fearing the cancellation of the district. At the same time, the rumor of cancellation of Sanchore district is also going viral on social media.
Madan Rathod gave this statement
Earlier, BJP state president Madan Rathore had also given a statement regarding districts, at that time too there was a controversy on this matter. At that time too former minister Sukhram Bishnoi had attacked Rathore’s statement calling it unfortunate. He had said that BJP state president is giving absurd statements without any study. Sanchore is a district and will remain a district. We will not tolerate any kind of interference under any circumstances and will fight till the last breath to keep the district as it is.
