While talking to journalists, the Law Minister said that a newspaper has said that the relaxation of 5 years in the upper limit of police employees in the police rules has been abolished. When we first made the rules in 1996, two years relaxation was given in the upper limit of employees in police recruitment. In the year 2000, it was increased from two to five years. In 2024, it was again made five years. When it was made five years this time, the previous five years were inadvertently deleted.
