New Delhi, February 5: The wait for millions of students eager to participate in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Exam Pe Charcha’ is about to end. The Prime Minister will engage with students, teachers, and parents from across the country on February 6 at 10 AM. This special discussion aims to help students alleviate stress and anxiety as they prepare for their exams. In response to popular demand, this year’s session will include not just students but also parents and teachers.
Students believe that this discussion will provide them with an opportunity to receive inspirational thoughts and guidance from the Prime Minister. Anika Mishra, a student from a government school in New Delhi, expressed that this program allows students to directly seek advice from the Prime Minister regarding exam preparation. They can ask questions that they may not find answers to elsewhere.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Modi has authored a book titled ‘Exam Warriors’ to guide students. The book aims to reduce exam-related stress among youth and students. Another student, Lakshya Negi, mentioned that the book emphasizes viewing exams as a celebration. It offers practical suggestions for staying stress-free and achieving success.
Many educators believe that through this book, the Prime Minister has presented a positive and visionary approach to education, prioritizing students’ knowledge and overall development. He encourages everyone to view exams in the right perspective, rather than creating unnecessary stress and pressure by treating them as a matter of life and death. This year marks the 9th edition of ‘Exam Pe Charcha’, which is aimed at students from class 6 and above, as well as teachers and parents. Over 4.5 crore individuals have registered to participate in this year’s program.
According to the Ministry of Education, a total of 4 crore 50 lakh 13,379 people, including students, teachers, and parents, have registered for ‘Exam Pe Charcha’. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has urged all schools to ensure widespread promotion of the program for students in class 6 and above and to make adequate arrangements for live viewing to make ‘Exam Pe Charcha 2026’ a significant success.
Through this dialogue, the Prime Minister has consistently urged everyone to view exams in the correct context and not to create unnecessary stress and pressure. This year, he will again engage directly with students, along with their parents and teachers. A total of 4 crore 19 lakh 14,056 students have registered for this interaction, along with 24 lakh 84 thousand 259 teachers and 6 lakh 15,064 parents.
The program will be broadcast live on Doordarshan channels, including DD National, DD News, and DD India, as well as major private TV channels. Additionally, it will be aired on All India Radio (MW and FM).
