Mumbai, March 25: Actor-director Boman Irani has humorously stepped into the role of a diplomat, addressing the ongoing conflict in West Asia. He shared a light-hearted video on social media on Wednesday. Known for his serious roles in films and web series, Boman showcased his comedic side in this video, referencing his Iranian roots. He jokingly stated that if U.S. President Donald Trump wishes to talk to three people of Iranian descent—Smriti Irani, Aruna Irani, and himself—he is ready.
In the Instagram video, Boman expressed that he, along with Smriti Irani and Aruna Irani, is fully prepared for peace talks if Trump wants to engage with ‘Iranians.’ He quipped, “I am absolutely ready. We can do anything for peace.”
However, Boman added a condition: he would not travel to Washington. Instead, he suggested that Trump’s delegation should come to Dadar Parsi Colony, where they would host them according to their preferences, serving them dhansak and custard. He humorously mentioned that they would also arrange for a gas cylinder, believing it would make life much easier for everyone involved.
Meanwhile, the unrest in West Asia continues to have global repercussions, with the U.S. and Israel attacking Iran, while Iran retaliates against U.S. allies and Tel Aviv in the Middle East.
Boman Irani’s video has quickly gone viral on social media, with fans enjoying his light-hearted approach and satire on the current situation. One user commented, “Wow, sir, that’s funny,” while another added, “What a great point.”
