Parth Pawar Denounces Baseless Rumors About NCP Leaders

Mumbai, April 2: Parth Pawar, a leader and MP of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), stated on Thursday that the news regarding fellow NCP leaders Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare is unfounded and entirely fictional.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Pawar emphasized that the decades-long loyalty and leadership of Patel and Tatkare have always guided the party. He condemned the involvement of such senior leaders in fabricated and politically motivated controversies, asserting that it should be strongly denounced. Pawar clarified that the party stands firmly with its senior leadership and will not be swayed by such baseless claims.

He further reiterated that the rumors targeting Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare are groundless and concocted. Their unwavering commitment and leadership over the years have been a guiding light for all. It is unfortunate to drag such senior leaders into fabricated disputes, and this should be condemned.

It is worth noting that an NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) leader had alleged that just 18 days after the death of Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare attempted to take control of the party. Furthermore, it was claimed that a letter was sent to the Election Commission demanding changes to the party’s constitution and transferring all powers to Praful Patel.

In response to these allegations, Ajit Pawar’s wife, Deputy Chief Minister, and NCP chief Sunetra Pawar wrote to the Election Commission, stating that letters sent by the party between January 28 and February 26 should not be considered official.

Since then, various claims regarding Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare have emerged. In light of this, Parth Pawar has issued a clarification, denouncing the involvement of such senior leaders in fabricated and politically motivated controversies.
