Various events are being organized by the Culture Department of Uttar Pradesh in this regard. Due to this, in this great gathering of faith, various colors of faith and spirituality along with various forms of rich Indian culture will be visible.
UP Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said, “A glimpse of Mini India will be visible in Prayagraj Mahakumbh. Many events are being organized by the Culture Department in Kumbh to include various dimensions of Indian cultural heritage, art and music. So that in the organization of religious and spiritual Kumbh, four large cultural platforms and 20 small cultural platforms will be established outside the Kumbh area, in which thousands of folk artists will be given a platform to present the art of their state and country. will get.”
In Prayagraj Mahakumbh, along with the divine and grand darshan of religious and spiritual traditions of Sanatan Dharma, a glimpse of India’s rich Indian culture will also be seen. Many events will be organized by the Culture Department in this regard. Kala Kumbh will be organized first so that the devotees and tourists coming to Maha Kumbh can become aware of the various dimensions of Indian culture after taking holy bath in Triveni. Art Kumbh camp will be built near Nagavasuki area, in which various arts from across the country will be exhibited.
Three big cultural platforms will be built in the Kumbh area so that the devotees and tourists coming to Sangam for Maha Kumbh can see the traditions of India along with its arts and its diverse genres. Its capacity will be more than one thousand spectators. These will be constructed in Jhunsi and Arail Sangam areas in the Kumbh area. Barring the bathing festivals, there will be classical and sub-classical presentations here for 35 days throughout the Mahakumbh. Apart from this, performances by well-known celebrity artists of the country will also be held in the Ganga Pandal at the Parade Ground.
The visitors coming to Mahakumbh will be greeted with the basic mantra of Atithi Devo Bhava. Apart from the Kumbh area, stages will be prepared for presentations at various places inside the city as well. 20 mini cultural stages will be constructed to welcome and entertain the visitors visiting the Kumbh area via various routes through the city. These platforms will be completely dedicated to folk artists. Here skilled artists of different folk arts will give their performances day and night. The Culture Department plans to start these presentations from January 10, 2025.
