Jaipur : Two people died in a truck collision near Gothra Cut on the highway in Bassi police station area on Saturday night. Police said that Jayesh Patel, resident of Kherwada Ki Dhani Udaipur, along with his brother Krishna Lal Patel, brother-in-law Nilesh Patel, cousin Naresh Patel had gone to Agra by car. They were going from Agra to Udaipur on Saturday night. Then on the way, they stopped near Gothra Cut for some work. During this, Krishna Lal stood outside the car. A truck was parked nearby. Its driver Shambhu Singh, resident of Ajmer, was also standing there. The truck coming at high speed from Dausa hit the car along with these two. Krishna Lal died on the spot in the accident. Truck driver Shambhu Singh was seriously injured.
The people in the car were also injured in the accident. After the accident, the truck driver fled from the spot. Later, the local residents informed the police about the incident. The police kept the body of Krishna Lal in the mortuary of the sub-district hospital Bassi and sent the seriously injured Shambhu Singh to Sawai Mansingh Hospital, Jaipur. Shambhu Singh also died during the night during treatment. In this case, Krishna’s brother Jayesh Patel has filed a case against the truck driver.
