According to the Meteorological Department, thunder and strong surface winds will blow at some places in Sri Ganganagar, Sawai Madhopur, Baran, Tonk, Alwar, Dausa, Hanumangarh Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Ajmer and Jhalawar districts. Their speed can be 20-30 KMPH. Light to moderate rain is likely with thunder.
Orange alert for rain issued at 4 am
Orange alert for rain has been issued in four districts of Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain/lightning and strong thunderstorm (wind speed 30-50 KMPH) at some places in Dausa, Jaipur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur districts.
Yellow alert issued for 8 districts at 4 am
The Meteorological Center Jaipur issued a yellow alert for rain on Friday morning for Baran, Tonk, Alwar, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Bharatpur districts and surrounding areas. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder / lightning / dust storms (wind speed 20-30 KMPH) / at some places in these areas.
