Demand for Chirag as CM Raises Political Temperature in Bihar

Patna, March 9: In a significant political development in Bihar, Sanjay Paswan, the state’s Sugar Department Minister, addressed the demand for Chirag Paswan to be appointed as Chief Minister. This demand was highlighted through posters put up by the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) amid speculations of a political shift in the state.

During a media interaction, Sanjay Paswan acknowledged the sentiments of the party workers, stating, “They have their own feelings, and we respect that. However, Nitish Kumar is still the Chief Minister.” He emphasized that any decisions regarding leadership changes would be made in the upcoming NDA meeting, and the party would welcome whatever decision is taken.

Paswan further noted that every worker has their own emotions, which should be respected, and that the coalition’s top leadership will ultimately decide the course of action. He mentioned that the decisions made within the alliance must be honored and cannot be dictated by individual desires.

Regarding Nishant’s inclusion in the JD(U), he remarked that all parties make decisions for their betterment and elect their leaders accordingly. The demand for Chirag Paswan’s elevation to the Chief Minister’s position has been a recurring theme among his supporters, with posters also displayed outside the Bihar BJP office.

As the political atmosphere heats up following Nitish Kumar’s nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections, the call for Chirag Paswan’s leadership has intensified, with slogans like “No riots, no disturbances, only Chirag as Bihar’s CM” appearing on the posters.
