Rewa, Madhya Pradesh witnessed a shocking incident of cruelty where a 60-year-old man, Lakshman Prajapati, was tied with a towel behind a vehicle and dragged for several metres by three criminals. The incident occurred when Prajapati was riding his bicycle and refused to give money to the assailants.
The victim is currently undergoing treatment at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa, where doctors have described his condition as serious, noting multiple injuries.

According to reports, the incident took place around 4:30 pm on Saturday in the Semariya village area of Rewa district. Police stated that the accused asked Prajapati to stop, but when he tried to move ahead, they caught him and dragged him on the road as punishment for refusing to pay money.
A purported video of the incident surfaced and went viral on social media by Sunday morning, sparking outrage among local residents. The footage clearly shows the elderly man being dragged mercilessly, highlighting the brutality of the attack.
