Kota : Energy Minister Hira Lal Nagar has hit back at Congress MLA from Kota North and former UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal. Nagar said that if anyone cannot see development then he should wear glasses. To be able to see, your glasses will have to be adjusted. Let us tell you that Dhariwal had said that no work is visible in the one year tenure of the government.
Nagar spoke at the youth festival
Hiralal Nagar participated in the Youth Festival program in Kota to mark the completion of one year of government. During this, while talking to the media, he said that there were complaints of corruption during the Congress rule. Investigating corruption is a process. Under that process, we cannot reject any big built infrastructure on the grounds that corruption has taken place. If corruption has taken place, there will be an investigation against those involved in corruption. If found guilty, action will be taken against them. But because of that it is not right to call the construction unusable. If construction has been done then it will be put to use. We will try to ensure that citizens get its benefits.
Work done through public taxes, worth every rupee
Nagar said that whatever construction was done during the previous government was done with the tax money of our citizens. Every penny has value. But the previous government did not care about it. Couldn’t cut its ribbon or inaugurate it. Nor did he worry about its maintenance. We worried about its maintenance. Therefore, we will include it in Panch Gaurav and maintain it. There has been a huge investment. Citizens should get its benefits. Governments come and go, but whatever development work or construction has been done. That development should actually have utility. Giving clarification on the statement ‘Elections are not won by doing development’, the Energy Minister said that a budget of Rs 300 crore was announced in Sangod. She landed on the ground. Told the workers not to sit at home on the basis of work, on the basis of development. You have to constantly contact the public. Stay connected with the public. Whatever problems they have, we have to solve them only then people want us. It is not possible today to just sit on the basis of development and assume that we will win the elections.
