Greater Noida, March 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first phase of the Noida International Airport in Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, on Saturday. The event has generated significant enthusiasm among local residents and BJP workers, who are eagerly looking forward to the occasion.
A BJP worker from Bulandshahr expressed his views, stating that the construction of Jewar Airport is visibly promoting development in the surrounding districts, particularly in the hotel sector and job creation. He noted that there is palpable excitement among the youth and local residents, with many attending the event to express their gratitude to Prime Minister Modi.
Another BJP supporter remarked, “We could never have imagined having an airport like this here, as Akhilesh Yadav wanted to move it to Etawah. The construction of the airport in Jewar is a gift from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.”
A different supporter highlighted, “This is a significant achievement for Uttar Pradesh. The gift given to this area by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Prime Minister is invaluable, especially in transforming a region that was once plagued by crime and terror in the 1990s.”
A local citizen described the day as historic for Gautam Buddha Nagar and Noida, stating that the airport’s construction will open up numerous opportunities for the residents, enhancing their income and job prospects.
A young worker added, “This is a historic achievement for the people of this region. Today, we are receiving a milestone gift in the form of Jewar International Airport, which will benefit not only the local population but also residents of nearby areas and all districts in western Uttar Pradesh.”
