Jaipur : Heavy rains are continuing in Rajasthan due to the new weather system from the Bay of Bengal. Heavy rains were recorded in many districts of eastern Rajasthan in the last 24 hours. Flood-like conditions were created due to heavy rains in Sawai Madhopur and Bharatpur districts. But, now due to the weakening of Wellmark Low Pressure, heavy rains will stop in Rajasthan from today. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in seven districts today. The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded in Sawai Madhopur, Dholpur, Baran, Bharatpur and Dausa. Flood-like conditions were created due to 7 inches of rain in Sawai Madhopur district. Apart from this, heavy rains were also recorded in Jhalawar, Karauli, Pratapgarh and Kota.
The speed of monsoon will slow down from today
According to the weather department, monsoon will remain active in many parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days. However, from today onwards, the heavy rains in most parts of the state will reduce.
It will rain in these districts today
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in the districts of the state today. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Alwar, Dholpur and Bharatpur today. At the same time, there may be rain with thunder in Baran, Dausa, Karauli and Sawai Madhopur.
