Tel Aviv, March 22: Tensions are escalating in the Middle East as Iran intensifies its attacks on Israel and U.S. bases across the region. On Saturday, Iran targeted Israel’s nuclear facility, raising alarms among residents. Indian-Israeli influencer Revital Moses expressed her concerns about the current situation, noting that people are living in fear amidst sirens and uncertainty.
Moses, who moved to Israel six years ago, stated, “The atmosphere in Israel is filled with fear and anxiety. Ordinary citizens are particularly scared, as attacks can happen at any moment, and no one wants to live under such constant dread.”
She elaborated on the impact of the ongoing attacks on daily life, saying, “We go about our lives with sirens blaring. Whether it’s grocery shopping, creating videos, working, or helping children with their studies, everything happens with the sirens sounding. When missiles fall, people try to stay indoors or near shelters, often sleeping there, as attacks can occur at any hour.”
Amidst the violence, a wedding in Israel went viral on social media. Moses remarked, “It was truly wonderful. A couple, my close friends, decided they didn’t want a traditional wedding and chose to celebrate in minus four-degree temperatures.”
Iran has launched significant missile attacks on southern Israeli cities, including Dimona and Arad, injuring over 100 people, with 11 in serious condition. Israeli media reported that the Israeli air defense failed to intercept at least two ballistic missiles during these assaults.
Following the attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir vowed to continue fighting against Israel’s adversaries on all fronts. Reports indicate that among the severely injured were a 12-year-old boy hit by shrapnel in Dimona and a 5-year-old girl injured in a subsequent attack in Arad.
Iran’s state media claimed these attacks were aimed at Israel’s nuclear research facility, located approximately 10 kilometers from Dimona and 30 kilometers from Arad. The recent missile strikes on Israel’s nuclear centers are perceived as retaliation, as both the U.S. and Israel have been actively working to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
