Dausa : Sikrai ADJ Court has sentenced 8 accused to life imprisonment in the case of murder of an old man in a land dispute 7 years ago. Also, while giving the verdict in the case of the other party in the same case, another accused has been sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment. The incident took place on June 21, 2017 in Chandera village of Mehandipur Balaji police station area of Dausa district. In this regard, one of the parties, Budhram, had filed a report that his 19 Bigha 8 Biswa land is registered in the name of his father Revadmal and he has been plowing and sowing it for years. Bharosi and Shivram etc. of his own village want to forcibly take over this land.
On June 21, 2017, he had gone to the field to sow millet with his father Revdmal, mother, wife and sister-in-law, when a dozen people including Bharosi, Ghumman, Manohari from the other party attacked him with deadly weapons. Rajendra ran a tractor over his father Revadmal and many other people attacked him with sharp weapons. Also assaulted other family members. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment, where his father Revadmal died.
On this, the police registered a case under several sections including murder and after investigation, presented the charge sheet in the court. During the hearing, 33 witnesses and 77 documents were presented in the court by the prosecution. On the basis of which the court, after complete investigation, found the accused Bharosi, Manohari, Banwarilal, Dharamraj, Shivram, Moharsingh, Rajendra and Ghuman guilty under several sections including murder.
