Rajasthan : Monsoon has entered the state on time. On Tuesday, monsoon covered many parts of Kota and Udaipur divisions. Monsoon rain occurred in many districts of both the divisions. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, monsoon will cover the districts of the entire state in the next four days. Monsoon may knock in the capital Jaipur on June 27.
Director of Meteorological Centre Radheshyam Sharma said that moderate rain has been recorded in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Kota and Jaipur divisions. In western Rajasthan, maximum rain was recorded in Raipur of Pali at 61 mm and in eastern Rajasthan, Pachpahar of Jhalawar and Badi Sadari of Chittorgarh at 64-64 mm. Whereas, 62 mm rain was recorded in Mahuva of Dausa. Due to heavy rain, water started flowing on the roads and low lying areas got flooded. Water was drained out from the market of Mahuva with the help of JCB.
Rain activities are likely to continue in some parts of Udaipur, Kota, Jodhpur and Ajmer divisions of southern and south-eastern Rajasthan in the coming days. Rain activities will increase in some parts of eastern Rajasthan from June 27. Heavy rainfall is likely from June 27 to 29. Similarly, in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner division, maximum temperature is likely to be recorded at some places between 43 and 45 degree Celsius during the next 48 hours.
