Indore, May 3: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced a golden opportunity for youth aspiring for government jobs. The commission has issued an official notification for the recruitment of a total of 81 Scientific Officer positions. The last date to apply for these positions is May 20. Eligible candidates will be selected based on a written examination, interview, and document verification.
The 81 positions available include 25 for Scientific Officer in Biology, 20 for Scientific Officer in Physics, and 36 for Scientific Officer in Chemistry. The online application process for these posts began on April 21. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their registration forms within the stipulated time frame once the application link is activated on the official website.
Candidates must possess a graduation and post-graduation degree in relevant fields such as Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Forensic Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or Forensic Science from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on the written examination, interview, and document verification, with selected candidates receiving a monthly salary ranging from ₹15,600 to ₹39,100, along with additional benefits and allowances. The written examination is expected to be conducted on November 22.
The minimum age for candidates applying is set at 21 years, while the maximum age limit is 40 years, calculated as of January 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
While applying, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹500 for general/unreserved and out-of-state candidates, and ₹250 for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer)/EWS/Persons with Disabilities from Madhya Pradesh.
