Orange alert for heavy rain in 7 to 12 districts of Rajasthan, know the condition of your city in the video

Dams and ponds which were dry for a long time are now filling up, which has brought a wave of happiness among farmers and the general public. The State Meteorological Center, Jaipur has issued an orange alert of heavy rain in 7 to 12 districts for the next three days, while there is a yellow alert in other districts.

In the last 24 hours, heavy rain has been recorded in many districts including Jodhpur, Bhilwara, Bharatpur, Jhunjhunu, Nagaur, Jhalawar, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, and Dholpur. Pilani in Jhunjhunu has received 52 mm of rain. At the same time, after heavy rain in Jodhpur, waterlogging occurred on the roads at many places including Tripolia Bazaar, which affected the traffic.

Water entered the houses of the slum dwelling in Jaisalmer’s Karni Colony, causing hardships to the residents. In Bundi, the sight became amazing as a sheet of water flowed over the anicut of the Ghodha Pachhad river.

Monsoon threat in Rajasthan

Monsoon has made a strong entry in 20 districts of Rajasthan this year. Heavy rains have submerged many areas of the state, affecting life. Due to heavy rains in Dholpur and Bharatpur and other districts, roads were flooded, disrupting traffic. Waterlogging on roads at places like Gandhi Chowk and Depot in Jhunjhunu city caused difficulties in the movement of vehicles. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of good rain in the state for the next 10 days, which is a relief news for farmers and reservoirs. While this strong start of monsoon has brought relief on the one hand, on the other hand, preparations will also have to be made to face the challenges of possible waterlogging.
