PM Modi Launches ₹20,000 Crore Projects in Gujarat

Udaipur, March 31: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated various development projects worth ₹20,000 crores in Vav-Tharad, Gujarat, on Tuesday. Addressing a public gathering, he expressed gratitude for being able to visit during the auspicious Navratri festival and acknowledged the significance of the day as it coincided with Mahavir Jayanti.

PM Modi emphasized the importance of the Disa airbase, located just 130 km from the international border, stating that it plays a crucial role in national security. He noted that the project for the airbase was initiated during his tenure as Chief Minister, and its establishment is vital for the security of the western border.

He criticized the previous central government for delaying the project and highlighted the substantial contributions it would make to the region’s development. Modi stated that the area of Vav-Tharad and Banaskantha holds a special place in his heart, and he has worked tirelessly to advance Gujarat’s interests.

The Prime Minister also praised Gujarat’s leadership in solar energy, recalling his initiative to establish the country’s first solar park in 2010. He expressed confidence that Gujarat would soon become a global hub for renewable energy.

Modi addressed the current global challenges, including conflicts and energy crises, asserting that India has maintained stability due to its effective foreign policy and public unity. He criticized certain political parties, particularly the Congress, for attempting to exploit the ongoing crises for political gain, urging the need for unity in these challenging times.

He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to rapid development, stating that as long as the public’s trust remains, the momentum of progress will continue.
