Jaipur, March 31: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) announced the results for the 12th-grade examinations in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams on Tuesday. This marks the first time the board has declared results immediately after the exams, in March.
The 12th-grade exams concluded on March 11, with a total of 910,009 students registered to take the tests. Historically, this is the first instance of the RBSE releasing 12th-grade results in March, following the announcement of 10th-grade results on March 24.
This year, girls outperformed boys in both the Arts and Science streams, while boys had a higher pass percentage in Commerce. However, the overall pass percentage saw a slight decline compared to last year. In 2026, the pass percentages were 97.54% in Arts, 98.50% in Commerce, and 97.52% in Science, compared to 97.78%, 99.07%, and 98.43% respectively in 2025.
In the Science stream, Rishita Tunwal, Nikita Jangid, and Divya Bhadu achieved remarkable scores of 99.80%, bringing pride to the Sikar district. Rishita shared her experience, stating, “I scored 99.8% in Science (Maths) and owe my success to my parents and teachers.”
She highlighted the excellent support from her school’s faculty, who provided a well-structured schedule and extra classes, enabling their outstanding performance. Rishita aspires to serve the nation as an IAS officer and advised juniors to study with full focus, take regular breaks, and maintain a positive mindset to reduce stress.
Nikita Jangid also expressed her joy at scoring 99.80% in the 12th-grade exams. She mentioned studying for 7 to 8 hours daily, with her father being a teacher and her mother a homemaker. Like Rishita, Nikita also aims to become an IAS officer and emphasized using smartphones solely for educational purposes, encouraging juniors to focus on their studies and prioritize revision.
