Jaipur : Rajasthan Finance Minister Diya Kumari presented the first full budget of the Bhajanlal government in the assembly on Wednesday. This is the first time that a state budget was presented before the central budget. In the budget of Rs 4.90 lakh crore, many big announcements were made for every section including farmers, women, youth, students, businessmen. This budget is in line with the vision of the Center, which will prepare a road map for PM Modi’s vision of ‘Developed India’. During this, many policies have been proposed. After the completion of the budget, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till 11 am on Thursday.
While presenting the budget, Rajasthan Finance Minister Diya Kumari announced that the Bhajanlal government will give 4 lakh government jobs to the youth of the state in the next five years. Apart from this, recruitment will be done on 1 lakh posts this year. Apart from this, Youth Policy 2024 will be brought in Rajasthan for the overall development of the youth. The state government has set a target of making 4 lakh recruitments in 5 years, in which 1 lakh recruitments are proposed to be made in the year. Diya Kumari said that so far 70 thousand recruitments have been announced, out of which 20 thousand have been given jobs.
She said, the work of providing employment to the youth will be done by conducting recruitment examinations every year in a timely manner. Along with this, a State Skill Policy will be introduced to enhance the skills of the youth. Kumari also announced the creation of a Fund of Funds with Rs 10 crore to provide financial assistance to startups through equity funding to create new employment opportunities for the youth.

The recruitment of 1500 new doctors and 4000 nursing staff has been announced in the budget. Rs 125 crore will be spent on the construction of mortuaries in hospitals. Road Safety Task Force will be formed at every divisional headquarters. 10 inactive trauma centers will be made operational and 6 night trauma centers will also be built.
