Rajasthan police takes big action, drug racket busted, medicines worth lakhs of rupees seized

Jaipur : Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Jaipur seized 20 thousand tablets of Alprazolam on Friday while taking action against drugs. Its price in the international market is Rs 30 lakh. According to the police, there was a plan to pack these narcotic tablets in packets of namkeen and send them to European countries, which has been busted.

Twenty-five days ago, the DRI team had seized 10,000 tablets of Tramadol and Alprazolam while raiding a house located at Tonk Phatak. DRI had arrested Arbaaz Khan and Prabhu Ram in this case and sent them to jail. During interrogation, it was revealed that the two smugglers had booked another courier in which 20,000 tablets came from Jharkhand to Jaipur. DRI has seized this consignment.
