Ghaziabad, March 22: The Modinagar Railway Station in Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, has undergone a complete transformation under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme’, leading to systematic improvements in various facilities and enhancing the overall experience for passengers.
New amenities have been introduced at the railway station to ensure a comfortable experience for travelers, including clean and spacious waiting areas, lifts, and several other modern facilities.
The station now boasts a modern building, a large transit area, comfortable waiting lounges, and a new foot-over bridge. Additionally, ticket counters have been reorganized to facilitate easier ticket purchases for passengers.
To provide a clean environment, well-maintained toilets and improved sanitation systems have also been implemented. Equipped with modern facilities, the station is now operational, offering passengers a significantly better and more comfortable travel experience than before.
Many local residents have expressed their happiness regarding the renovated premises. Several individuals noted that the station previously lacked seating arrangements and basic amenities, but the situation has completely changed now. These new improvements have provided considerable relief to travelers and enhanced the overall experience at the station.
A passenger, Krish, shared his direct experience, stating that the facilities at Modinagar Station have improved significantly compared to before. “We have recently witnessed a major change here, and every aspect has been organized very well,” he remarked.
Another traveler, Amit, mentioned the installation of lifts at the station. “Many trains that previously did not stop here will now arrive on schedule. The ticket counter has been newly established, and the cleanliness level is much better than before. Additionally, waiting lounge facilities are now available,” he added.
Mahatma Beni Das, another passenger, noted that the station has transformed from a small platform into a truly beautiful station, with special attention given to maintaining cleanliness.
It is noteworthy that over 1,300 railway stations across the country are being rapidly modernized under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme’. The renovation of Modinagar Railway Station is another significant part of this initiative.
