The minimum temperature was recorded at 13.8 degrees Celsius, which was the coldest day of this season. Due to cold people had to wear thick clothes in the morning. The lukewarm morning sunlight also seemed pleasant. The feeling of mild cold continued even during the day. According to the Meteorological Department, the cold is predicted to intensify with fog in the coming days.

Villagers were seen trying to escape the cold by lighting bonfires.
