
Indore, January 9 โ A tragic road accident occurred near the Tejaji Nagar bypass in Ralamandal, Indore on Friday morning, claiming the lives of three individuals, including Prerna, the daughter of former Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Bala Bachchan. Another woman sustained severe injuries in the incident.
Prerna was traveling in a car that collided with a truck, resulting in the vehicle being completely mangled. Bala Bachchan is a prominent Congress leader and currently serves as the MLA from the Rajpur constituency.
According to police reports, the victims were returning from a function when the accident took place. The other two deceased have been identified as Sandhu and Prakhar. The injured woman is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Initial investigations by police suggest that the accident may have been caused by low visibility or excessive speed during the early morning hours. Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene, securing the area, recovering the bodies, and transporting them to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination.
Authorities have registered a case and initiated a detailed inquiry to ascertain the exact cause of the accident. Police sources indicate that the truck driver fled the scene following the collision.
