
Greater Noida, January 10. In a significant operation, police in Gautam Buddh Nagar’s Dadri area have arrested two notorious criminals involved in the brutal murder of a young man. Both suspects had a reward of ₹25,000 each on their heads.
The encounter occurred late last night when the Dadri police, acting on local intelligence and confidential information, were conducting checks on the route leading to Jarcha. According to police reports, the suspects opened fire when approached, prompting a retaliatory response from the police, resulting in injuries to both criminals, who were then apprehended.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Anuj, son of Kanwal Singh, a resident of Gram Chakrasenpur in Dadri, and Saksham Sharma, also known as Rishabh Sharma, son of the late Dinesh, from Gram Uncha Hamirpur in Jarcha. Police recovered a country-made firearm, a spent cartridge, a live cartridge, and a motorcycle from each of the suspects. They have been hospitalized for treatment, and their condition is being monitored.
Police revealed that the two accused brutally assaulted a young man in Gram Kamerala, leading to his death. Following this grave incident, a murder case was registered, and a manhunt was launched for the suspects. A reward was announced by the police administration for their capture.
Regarding their criminal backgrounds, Anuj has several serious charges against him, including attempted murder, murder, and threats registered at the Dadri police station. Meanwhile, Saksham Sharma has ongoing cases involving theft and the Gangster Act. The police are currently engaged in further legal proceedings and investigating other aspects of the case.
