Prayagraj: Mamta Kulkarni, the Mahamandaleshwar of the Kinnar Akhada, has made a striking claim that she has seen the Kalki Avatar and that Lord Parshuram is training him. Her statement has sparked widespread discussion.
Speaking on her spiritual experiences, Mamta Kulkarni said, “A spiritual journey is not about external appearances or titles, but about inner consciousness and perception. I have witnessed and understood things that ordinary life does not allow. I have seen the Kalki Avatar and observed Lord Parshuram imparting training to him.”
She added, “There are certain spiritual principles. Not everything should be made public. Some experiences remain between the devotee and the divine. I know many things, but it is not right to disclose everything.”
Criticising Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, she remarked, “Before reaching a high position like Shankaracharya, it is essential to let go of ego. If ego remains, the dignity of that position cannot be understood.”
On the Ram Temple issue, Mamta Kulkarni stated, “When the Ram Temple was being constructed in Ayodhya after nearly five hundred years of waiting, almost all sections of society welcomed it. Except for the Shankaracharya, everyone accepted this historic moment. The consequence for him was severe, as a landslide occurred near the Jyotish Peeth when he said he would not visit the temple. That was divine punishment.”
Reflecting on truth and dharma, she emphasised, “There is no virtue greater than truth and no sin greater than falsehood. The true meaning of dharma is truth. Without truth in life, any garment, position, or identity is meaningless.”
She also shared, “I have been wearing saffron robes for the past 25 years and have followed the path of meditation, austerity, and spiritual practice. This is my lifestyle, but I do not consider myself bound by any robe or position.”
Regarding politics, Mamta Kulkarni said, “I do not like extremism and believe religion should remain a personal matter.”
She further commented on Swami Avimukteshwaranand’s political leanings, questioning, “Even if the Samajwadi Party comes to power, will cow slaughter stop?” Speaking on the current political scenario, she said, “As long as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is there, I do not see any other leader emerging prominently.”
On the Congress party’s future, she expressed more confidence in Priyanka Gandhi than Rahul Gandhi.
