Ahmedabad, March 7: The T20 World Cup 2026 final between India and New Zealand is set to take place on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Ahead of this crucial match, captain Suryakumar Yadav and head coach Gautam Gambhir, along with Hardik Pandya, visited the Hanuman temple located within the stadium premises to seek blessings.
Fans across the country are performing prayers for India’s victory. In Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, the Harihar Aarti Committee conducted a special Ganga Aarti at the Sangam for India’s success, with fans holding posters of Indian players.
Ahmedabad is buzzing with excitement as one fan expressed, “I am 100% sure that India will win this match. We had a similar atmosphere during the ODI World Cup in 2023 (India vs Australia), but for some reason, we couldn’t win. This time, we will definitely claim the title.”
Another fan commented on the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 final, stating, “Sunday’s match is going to be very interesting. Undoubtedly, this World Cup is ours. We will win our second consecutive T20 World Cup, and our players will shine in this match.”
