Rising Inflation Pressures Trade Deals: Jitu Patwari

Bhopal, March 11: Jitu Patwari, the head of the Madhya Pradesh Congress, has criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating that many within the party must have felt humiliated at times. He referred to the BJP’s historical stance on social issues, highlighting their opposition to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and their controversial remarks against the Constitution on social media. Patwari claimed that the BJP’s ideology has tarnished the country’s democracy.

He expressed confidence in the judicial system, announcing plans to approach the Supreme Court, asserting that Mukesh Malhotra would be re-elected and that Congress would emerge victorious. Patwari emphasized that the BJP’s actions and character have been exposed to the public once again.

He noted that global conflicts have begun to impact inflation in India, leading to pressured trade deals. Farmers are suffering as prices for soybeans, cotton, and maize have dropped by 40%. LPG prices have increased by ₹60, and petrol and diesel prices may reach ₹200.

Patwari expressed concern over rising crude oil prices but stressed the need for representation of tribal communities in legislative positions. He urged the public to recognize the BJP’s shortcomings and reiterated his commitment to fight against undemocratic forces with determination and courage.

He accused BJP workers of living in luxury while inflation affects the common people, urging citizens to compare the living conditions of local BJP leaders now and a decade ago.
