Trump Claims Destruction of Irans Naval and Air Defense Systems

Washington, March 11: U.S. President Donald Trump claimed on Wednesday that American attacks have severely damaged Iran’s military infrastructure, stating that its navy and air defense systems are nearly completely destroyed.

Speaking to reporters before departing from the White House, Trump asserted that the U.S. military has conducted unprecedented and highly effective strikes on Iranian military bases during the ongoing conflict.

“Our military is the best and most powerful in the world, and they are targeting them very vigorously. Right now, their navy is finished, their airports are destroyed. They no longer have any anti-aircraft systems or radar left. Their leaders are also gone, and we can do even more,” Trump said.

He hinted that the U.S. has deliberately left some targets untouched, but if they were to be destroyed, it would be nearly impossible for Iran to rebuild its country.

“We have intentionally left some things. If we want, we can finish them by this afternoon, or even within an hour. After that, they won’t be able to rebuild their country,” he added.

The U.S. President also claimed that most of Iran’s naval capabilities have been obliterated, stating that nearly all of its ships have been destroyed.

Trump further stated that the U.S. military has dismantled Iran’s multi-layered defense system, saying, “We have destroyed their navy, their air force, and all their anti-defense systems. This has never been seen before.”

When asked whether the U.S. could halt military action even if Iran’s conditions were not met, Trump indicated that the campaign might continue. “We have inflicted more damage on them than perhaps any country in history, and it is not over yet,” he said.
