Controversial Audio Links MLA Chandrabhan Singh Aakya to Misconduct

Chittorgarh, March 16: A viral audio clip has sparked controversy involving Chittorgarh MLA Chandrabhan Singh Aakya and RTO inspector Sushil Upadhyay. The audio, which has not been officially verified, allegedly captures a conversation between the two, raising concerns in political and administrative circles of the district.

Former MLA Surendra Singh Jadawat criticized the use of inappropriate language by elected representatives, stating that such behavior is unbecoming. He emphasized that if the audio is genuine, the way Aakya allegedly threatened the RTO inspector with vulgar language is unacceptable and goes against democratic values.

Jadawat expressed his dismay at the incident, stating that it is troubling for a public representative to use abusive language towards an employee. He suggested that if the MLA felt he was wronged regarding a traffic violation, he should have filed a complaint rather than resorting to threats and insults.

In the audio, an individual claiming to be Ravindra Bhutada discusses the possibility of issuing a traffic ticket for the MLA’s vehicle. When the officer mentions the need to pay the fine, the conversation reportedly escalates, leading to aggressive language and threats of violence at the Gangrar toll plaza.

As of now, there has been no official statement from the involved officer, nor has MLA Chandrabhan Singh commented publicly on the matter. This incident is not the first of its kind in Chittorgarh, as previous disputes between elected officials and officers have also made headlines, including a notable case involving Begun MLA Rajendra Singh Bidhuri and police officer Sanjay Gurjar.
