Baba Ramdev Warns of Global Tensions Between US and Iran

Haridwar, March 26: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev recently expressed concerns over the escalating tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran. In a conversation, he noted that the world is going through a very delicate phase and urged everyone to exercise restraint, avoiding actions or statements that could harm India’s international image.

Ramdev stated, “The situation of war is a warning bell for the entire world. Following the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the rising tensions between the US, Israel, and Iran pose a serious threat to global peace.”

He appealed for collective efforts from all nations to establish peace, emphasizing that even a single death or minor incident could trigger a major war. “Solutions should come through dialogue and diplomacy,” he added. Ramdev asserted, “Neither the US will win nor Iran will lose. Iran has demonstrated that no country can be intimidated by assuming it is weak.”

He emphasized that democracy does not mean instilling fear. The US claims to be the world’s most powerful democracy, and therefore, it should respect the freedom and sovereignty of other nations.

Referring to the concept of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ Ramdev stated that the entire world is one family. He remarked, “No single country or power can dominate the entire world. India should continue to connect the world with its ancient heritage and independent foreign policy, a direction in which our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is consistently working.”

On the upcoming assembly elections in five states, Ramdev shared his views that change is natural in a democracy, leading to renewal. He urged the public to vote for leaders and parties whose policies and leadership contribute positively to nation-building.

He called upon all citizens to ensure their participation in voting and to support those who have contributed to the country’s development. Ramdev stressed the importance of unity on national issues, particularly in sensitive areas like foreign policy and diplomacy, where the country should present a strong front.
