BJP Focuses on Micro-Planning Ahead of Local Elections in Gujarat

Vadodara, March 29: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has commenced preparations for the upcoming local self-government elections in Gujarat, with a strong emphasis on enhancing booth-level organization. Senior leaders held several zonal meetings on Saturday to strategize for this initiative.

During a meeting with South Zone office bearers in Surat, BJP State President Jagdish Vishwakarma outlined a strategy aimed at creating a “strong and well-planned organizational structure” at every booth and household.

The meeting included Union Minister of Jal Shakti C.R. Patil, State General Secretary Prashant Korat, and State Election Management Committee Convenor Gordhan Jadafiya, along with district and city-level office bearers and party leaders from across the zone.

According to party leaders, Vishwakarma urged workers to ensure that information regarding public welfare initiatives undertaken by the central and state governments, led by the BJP, is widely available. He emphasized the importance of communicating the work done by locally elected representatives to every household.

Patil, Korat, and Jadafiya also addressed the meeting, providing organizational guidance to party workers. A similar focus on grassroots mobilization was evident in the Central Zone meeting held in Vadodara under Vishwakarma’s chairmanship.

In the Vadodara meeting, Vishwakarma appealed to workers to maintain continuous contact with the public through outreach and travel, informing them about the government’s “nation-friendly and welfare initiatives.” He described booth-level workers as the party’s “greatest strength” and called for micro-planning at every booth to ensure a “strong and robust organizational structure” ahead of the elections.

Jadafiya also addressed the meeting, discussing various aspects of election management. Both meetings were part of the party’s significant effort to coordinate its organizational strategy in the areas ahead of the local body elections.
