Hyderabad Police to Ensure Tight Security for Hanuman Jayanti Procession

Hyderabad, March 31: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar announced on Tuesday that extensive arrangements will be made for the peaceful conduct of the Hanuman Jayanti procession scheduled for April 2.

To ensure the annual procession proceeds smoothly, the police commissioner held a coordination meeting with officials and organizers. Approximately 168 processions are expected to participate in the main event.

To bolster security, around 3,000 police personnel, along with additional armed forces, will be deployed at key locations. Organizers have been advised to train volunteers to manage the crowd effectively and strictly adhere to designated routes.

Special precautions regarding the height of idols have been emphasized, considering the flyovers and railway bridges along the route. The police have urged organizers and participants to remain vigilant and report any suspicious individuals immediately.

Traffic changes will be implemented in advance to minimize inconvenience to the public, and citizens are requested to cooperate with police instructions. Additionally, people have been warned not to believe or spread rumors on social media. The police stated that strict action will be taken against those posting inflammatory content.

After the meeting, the commissioner inspected the 12-kilometer route from Gauliguda Ram Temple to Tadbund Hanuman Temple. Officials from various departments and representatives from different Hindu organizations participated in the meeting.

The police commissioner expressed confidence that, with the cooperation of the public and organizers, the Hanuman Jayanti procession will also be completed peacefully, similar to the previous Ram Navami celebrations.
