Severe Heatwave Continues in NCR, Yellow Alert Issued

Noida, April 25: The severe heatwave affecting Noida and the entire NCR region continues unabated. According to the latest forecast from the India Meteorological Department, the heatwave conditions will persist on April 25, prompting the issuance of a yellow alert.

Since morning, residents have been facing significant discomfort due to intense sunlight and hot winds. The weather department has reported a maximum temperature of around 43 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature between 26-27 degrees Celsius for the day. There is a likelihood of heatwave conditions during both daytime and evening, exacerbating the heat’s impact.

Humidity levels are expected to hover around 40 percent in the morning and drop to about 20 percent by evening. However, a welcome change in weather is anticipated starting April 26, with clouds expected to cover the sky and strong surface winds during the day. While temperatures will remain around 43 degrees, the intensity of sunlight may decrease due to cloud cover.

The weather department’s forecast indicates that on April 27, there will be partial cloud cover with a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder in some areas. The maximum temperature is expected to remain around 43 degrees, with a minimum of about 26 degrees. The weather is predicted to change further on April 28 and 29, with chances of rain and thunderstorms.

On April 28, temperatures may drop to a maximum of 41 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees, while on April 29, the maximum is expected to be 40 degrees and the minimum 25 degrees. Increased humidity during these days may lead to a feeling of discomfort. On April 30, partial cloud cover and chances of thunder are also expected, with further temperature drops anticipated, reaching a maximum of 39 degrees and a minimum of 24 degrees.

According to weather experts, while residents will have to endure extreme heat and heatwave conditions until April 25, a change in weather is expected to begin on April 26, leading to a slight decrease in temperatures with light rain between April 27 and 29.
