Ram Temple Built by Collective Efforts, Society Now Responsible for Ram Rajya: Mohan Bhagwat

Nagpur, April 28: A grand felicitation ceremony was organized by the Dr. Hedgewar Memorial Committee in Nagpur, honoring individuals who contributed to the construction of the magnificent Ram Temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi. The event commenced with floral tributes at the statue of Bharat Mata. Among the dignitaries present were Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, revered Govinddev Giri Maharaj, committee president Suresh ‘Bhaiyaji’ Joshi, and vice president Shridhar Gadge.

In his address, Mohan Bhagwat emphasized that the temple was built with the collective effort of the community, stating, “As long as everyone contributes, the divine will rise.” He highlighted the significance of the temple’s construction in the upliftment of Sanatan Dharma and the nation. Bhagwat recalled that the process of upliftment began from 1857, culminating in the present day, and pointed out the importance of collective effort in achieving such monumental tasks.

He remarked, “India must rise, but what does India mean? Is it merely a geographical entity? The movement for the temple was significant, and without the support of the people, it would not have materialized.” Bhagwat reiterated that the temple is not just a religious site but a symbol of pride and restoration for Hindu society, serving as a focal point for millions of believers across the country.

Bhaiyaji Joshi added that the temple represents not only a place of worship but also the self-respect of the Hindu community. He noted that the construction involved minimal use of iron and cement to ensure durability for a thousand years, with contributions from artisans, engineers, and institutions nationwide. The project was realized with the support of nearly 10 crore people.

The ceremony underscored the collective responsibility of society in nurturing and upholding the values represented by the Ram Temple.
