
New Tehri, May 9: A comprehensive legal service camp is scheduled to take place on May 10 at the ‘Trihari Cinema Hall’ in the municipal premises of Bauraadi, New Tehri, under the auspices of the District Legal Services Authority, Tehri Garhwal.
Preparations for the camp have been reviewed by the in-charge District Magistrate and Chief Development Officer, Varuna Agarwal, who inspected the arrangements at the municipal office in Bauraadi. She instructed the relevant officials to ensure cleanliness, painting, proper placement of stalls for the camp day, adequate drinking water supply, and installation of mobile toilets, all to be completed in a timely manner.
The camp will provide information about various laws and will facilitate the issuance of certificates such as income certificates, caste certificates, disability certificates, and birth-death certificates on-site. Additionally, free health check-ups will be available for the public, along with necessary medications. Various departments will set up stalls to inform citizens about government welfare schemes, and solutions to numerous public issues are also expected to be addressed during the event.
The camp will feature participation from Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta, Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court; Justice Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court and Executive Chairman of the Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority, Nainital; and Justice Alok Mahara.
