Rajouri, January 12. A reported sighting of a drone-like object in the Teriyath area of Rajouri district has created significant concern and fear among local residents. The incident occurred on Sunday evening around 6:30 PM when residents observed a suspicious object flying at a low altitude in the sky.
The first to report the sighting was local resident Pankaj Sharma, who claimed to have seen the drone-like object with his own eyes. Sharma noted that such activities are unusual and suggest a possible conspiracy originating from across the border. He emphasized that Pakistan has a history of orchestrating such incidents to instill fear in border areas and challenge national security.
Sharma urged the central government and security forces to take stringent action, likening the situation to ‘Operation Sindoor’, and called for a decisive response to prevent future occurrences.
Another local resident, Bodh Raj, echoed these concerns, expressing that people living in border regions already face sensitive circumstances, and such sightings disrupt the mental peace of ordinary citizens. He appealed to the central government to take strong measures against Pakistan, alleging that these actions are aimed at targeting civilians and undermining regional stability.
Raj asserted that the safety of innocent people should be the top priority and that any provocative action should not be tolerated.
Meanwhile, Security Agencies have taken note of the reported Drone Sighting. Officials stated that they are seriously investigating the inputs received and are in the process of confirming details while considering all possible angles. Security measures in the area have been heightened, with authorities maintaining a close watch on the situation.
