Rajsamand : Nine people have died in four road accidents in four cities from late last night to this morning. The most and most painful deaths have occurred in a road accident in Rajsamand district. Here a tanker weighing more than twenty five thousand kilos overturned on a luxury car passing on the highway. It was filled with chemicals, which started leaking. Along with this, the diesel tank of the tanker also started leaking, no one went near for a long time due to fear of explosion. Later the police arrived and started rescue work with the help of relief and rescue team.
This accident happened at Man Singh Ka Guda on Rajsamand Gomti Fourlane in Charbhuja Thana Circle of Rajsamand district. Four people have died in this. The deceased include two women and two men. Locals said that a tanker full of chemicals collided with a trailer coming from the other side. After that, the rear part of the tanker became uncontrollable and overturned on a car passing by. The car was going from Udaipur to Rajsamand. After the incident, Kelwa and Charbhuja police stations along with Rajsamand Collector reached the spot and started the rescue operation.
Efforts to remove the car riders with the help of a crane continued for a long time. The whole family perished in the accident. It is being told that Deenbandhu Upadhyay, his elder brother Purushottam Upadhyay, Purushottam’s wife Renu Upadhyay and Renu’s mother-in-law Mansukh Devi (68) died in the car. All of them were residents of Kelwara area of Rajsamand. Police said that the weight of a ten-wheeled truck is about five thousand kilos and after attaching a tanker to it, its weight increases by about twenty thousand kilos. The top model of the car on which this trailer overturned costs about twenty five lakh rupees. Apart from Rajsamand district, five people also died in accidents in Sikar, Dausa and Ganganagar districts. These accidents happened late last night and today morning.
