Mumbai, May 24: Actress Vamika Gabbi celebrated the one-year anniversary of her fantasy romantic comedy film ‘Bhul Chook Maaf’ with a special e-rickshaw ride. To mark this memorable occasion, Vamika shared a video clip on her official Instagram handle, showcasing her journey in a car dressed as a bride, telling everyone along the way that it was her wedding day.
In her caption, she expressed gratitude, stating, “A year ago, all of you showered us with so much love by joining our wedding! Thank you! If there were any mistakes, please forgive us.”
Directed by Karan Sharma, ‘Bhul Chook Maaf’ was produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. The film features a talented cast, including Vamika, Rajkummar Rao, and Seema Pahwa, with supporting roles played by Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Raghuveer Yadav, Ishtiyaq Khan, Purnima Sharma, Anubha Fatehpuriya, and Vineet Kumar.
Released in theaters on May 23, 2025, ‘Bhul Chook Maaf’ received mixed reviews. The story revolves around Ranjan, played by Rajkummar, a boy from a small town in Varanasi, who secures a government job to marry his girlfriend Titli, portrayed by Vamika. However, he forgets an important promise made to Lord Shiva, leading him to become trapped in a cycle of time.
On the technical front, the film’s cinematography was handled by Sudip Chatterjee, while editing was done by Manish Pradhan.
Vamika will soon be seen sharing the screen for the first time with popular YouTuber Bhuvan Bam in Karan Johar’s film ‘Kukku Ki Kundli,’ directed by Sharan Sharma, known for his work in ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ and ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.’
