It is noteworthy that a portion of the under-construction bridge collapsed on Friday, causing chaos at the site and a scene of panic. Reports indicate that several workers were trapped under the debris, with the confirmation of three fatalities.

According to information, as soon as the bridge section fell, the workers present at the site were buried under the rubble. Upon receiving news of the incident, teams from the police, army, and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) promptly arrived at the scene and initiated a rescue operation. The local administration is also engaged in relief efforts.

It has been reported that the bridge’s wall had suffered damage during last year’s floods, and repair work was underway when this tragic incident occurred.
